This site exhibits a typeface created solely with CSS and HTML with the intention of creating a space where the user can examine or interface with the type. My typeface 'Blot Matrix' seeks to harken back to the dot matrix printer, xerox machine, and general analog printing of the 1990s. I wanted the page to contain a sense of tangibility or dimensionality that would essentially separate itself from the context of a webpage to funcion more like a quasi-tactile poster or dot matrix wrapsheet printout.
